Other countries had been considered for the first Haute Route in East Asia, but the opportunity to help develop the vast, largely untapped market for top-end cycling events in China was too big of a lure to ignore. I wanted to participate in this race as well, but it was not possible. I broke my ankle just a month before the competition, and that is why I am having such a hard time. I think that I would have made the top ten if I was able to compete. I am bummed about it, but it is not like there are people who are waiting for me on the other side. I hope that I can compete soon enough.

Look at how these people proved how passionate they are with this activity because they were still able to make it on the event despite of the bad weather. I wish I have the same kind of loyalty and passion these people have. I am actually wondering where I can find the full coverage of this event because I would really love to see every detail of this event. Anyway, I will just try to look for it here on your site as well. Thank you for your effort in sharing this.
